Ex-Blues Club - Founded in 1945
by 5 former members of 228 Squadron Air Training Corp in memory of their friend
and colleagues who went to war and never came back. In 1947 both a Cricket and
Football team was formed. The football team played in the Bromley & District
League and caused quite a stir in the area when two of the EX-Blues players were
sent off for fighting. The team went on to win many titles and had 3 players go
on to play for Bromley Town in the mid fifties. John Martin an excellent player
went on to become a referee in the Premier Division of the Football League.
